January 4, 2025: The poinsettias had to go! After 5 years of dormancy, my Christmas Cactus is blooming, which I consider a major feat.
It's time to do a New Year's Cleanup. There is something fabulous about starting a new year with a clean place that plays into the whole "out with the old, in with the new." If you can't use it, lose it. Declutter your space by removing anything that isn't serving a purpose. While you’re at it, this might be a good time to rethink some friendships.
As we reflect on the past year, making resolutions for the new one, this could be a good time to evaluate certain relationships, considering whether some may need to be adjusted or even ended, especially if they are no longer fulfilling or feel one-sided. – paerki

January 4, 2025: Yesterday's adventure, a 14-mile walk through DC. I appreciate public transportation. Even with the occasional challenge, it works for me. Driving is overrated. I've never been a fan. Although, I did enjoy my convertible years. – paerki
