It’s official! ReNew Botanicals had its grand opening on Friday, September 6, 2013. What a lovely event, truly!
My friend, Master Esthetician Shelley Birnbaum is a trailblazer when it comes to organic skin care, offering a large selection of organic and natural toxic-free personal care products.
I’ve never met someone so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and purposeful in her mission to educate her clients, friends and the general public on smart skin care. It goes beyond skin deep. She’s an advocate when it comes to organics in general, particularly food. As I always say, you are what you eat.
When I’m in her shop, I’ll occasionally listen in as she speaks to clients about skin maintenance and product choices. This is serious business, and I hang on to every word. I’m not sure how much she realizes it, but she’s been a significant influence. I’ve learned a great deal, and I share her message with others.
So thank you, friend, for all that you do for the environment – for being genuine, honest and factual. You’re the real deal, a true inspiration, and visionary. I encourage everyone to check out ReNew Botanicals, and soon.
In addition to the grand opening, artwork was on display by Mattye Hamilton and will be featured for the next month. As if you really need a second reason to visit ReNew, but if you do – this work is outstanding. Thank you, Mattye! I truly enjoyed our conversation, welcoming the diversity of your work. These particular paintings are masterful – relishing the lightness, feminine quality and sheer beauty. You have an exquisite eye, and a joyful heart, and it shows. We have the power of choice – choosing how to behave, what to say and when to say it. We have the power to control our attitude, thus making a difference.
