Winter 2015
During the past few weeks the Earth’s Northern Hemisphere has been getting its warm wake-up call, and soon it will be spring (just 13 more days). Winter is trying to hold on (and it's doing a good job), but that won’t last for too much longer, let’s hope.
I’m appreciating the last of the late afternoon-early evening winter walks. There aren’t many left. Before spring flowers steal your attention, take these final days to enjoy the character of the bare trees. They are truly something to behold, especially against a canvas of blue sky.
I am so over snow. Big time! I am ready for warm weather and beautiful spring flowers. How about you? Spring will have its moment, and it better not be brief. We’ve had enough wet weather to produce a magnificent season of color and delight.
What we must practice now is time and patience. Better days are coming, my friends. Just you wait!
This is my collection of memorable photos from winter 2015, with each telling its own unique story. Each one of these photographs represents a conversation piece, a memory I never want to forget. Thank you friends for joining me on my adventures. It pays to look back on the journey.
A look back is helpful when navigating life’s march because there might not always be an opportunity ahead, thus every reason to make the most of what’s before you, and if you are sharing time with a friend, embrace every aspect of that togetherness by being present in the moment because it’s a gift to cherish, and will aid in times of longing. – paerki (Additional Photos: Winter 2015)
