A Summer Farewell
My Saturday morning hike (my last one for the summer) was peaceful. I was surprised to see butterflies. They have one last story to tell, one of joy and inspiration and of endurance, and each is a reminder to seek out the simple things that life has to offer in order to find true peace and harmony, and genuine perspective, for this is real beauty. It’s the little things, like a butterfly, that matter most – well, to me anyway. They help me not take the larger stuff for granted, or myself too seriously. Find your joy in a new season. Tomorrow is the autumnal equinox. I’m ready for fall. How about you? – paerki
