End Of Year Thinking
Gardening is Therapy:
Before the year ends, I must give my garden another shoutout because it was that fabulous, bringing much sanity and relief to my world. It was a lifeline during the pandemic… just ask my neighbors. It got us through the spring, summer and fall months.
Winter is just beginning, but there is no time like the present to consider and plan a spring garden. Gardening is a relaxing, recreational activity that can produce great personal rewards.
Plants and flowers provide a more meaningful connection to the planet. As for gardeners, we are growing hope.
It’s no secret I love flowers. They make me smile big, and literally lift my spirit. Allow them to lift yours too, dear friends. – paerki
They go hand in hand. I’ll miss sitting on the fire escape to sip tea and read. That was my summer thing. However, there is something to be said about getting cozy with a warm drink and a good book in front of the fireplace. Hello, winter!
The pandemic continues. Stay safe and warm during these challenging times. If and when things seem out of sort, calm your nerves with a good book and a cup of hot tea. That’s a home remedy that works every time. – paerki
(BTW: January is national hot tea month.)
