30-Minute Walk
Step away from what you’re doing and take a 30-minute walk. Go ahead, stretch your legs. If you’re like me, working from home, it’s imperative you get a little fresh air at different intervals throughout the day to help deal with the stresses of a pandemic (of course, make sure you keep a safe distance from others and when appropriate, wear a mask).
Now more than ever, it’s important we practice civility. That’s the best way to beat anxiety and stay balanced. Avoid the "us vs. them" mentality. It’s hard, but try to find common ground. Remember the following when dealing with difficult people: Practice active listening. Know when to walk away. Be an upstander not a bystander. The most important one of all, practice gratitude. – paerki
The following quote found me today… "We are the creators of our universe. That’s where the power lies: knowing there’s something you can do to change your reality." – Eric Perez
(The photos in this post are from my latest 30-minute walk. I enjoyed my stroll through the St. Mary’s Seminary and University campus.)
