Our Day: Worth Remembering
I don't know about you, but I needed this day. Watching you build cairns in the water was calming to my spirit. The hike... Conversation... Our impromptu lunch on the trail... The two of us sitting on a very small rock in the middle of the Patapsco River eating flowerless chocolate bundt cakes and our long walk back to the car, all is worth remembering. It's the simple things in life I crave. Let me not forget it was the day of the solar eclipse. The latter pales in comparison, don't you think? Let's do it again, and soon. Next time, Rocks State Park. – paerki
