Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Children will be frantic – rushing to see what Santa left them under the tree, friends and loved ones will exchange presents, some people are leaving their homes to participate with Meals on Wheels, or go to a soup kitchen to lend a hand to feed the homeless, and countless others are keeping to family traditions passed down from one generation to the next, but I hope all will take a few moments to honor those closest to their heart with a gift of words.
It’s a day for all things love, an opportunity to showcase how you really feel. I’m hopeful we’ll share that happiness with all whom we meet, remembering a smile and a simple hello goes a long way – well, with me anyway.
I hope if you have given a gift, you attached a note, and have written more than just your name. If you are someone with no gift to give, then maybe your option might be a card with words. If you think you have nothing – nothing to give, remember you have a heart, arms and a mouth. Don’t be afraid to reach out and hug, whispering into the ear an expression worthy of the receiver. "I love you!" "Thank you!" "I’m glad we’re friends!" – will do nicely. Don’t forget to wish a neighbor, friend or a complete stranger, Merry Christmas because that too feeds into your karma and has the ability to help heal the world.
I give you the gift of words, my words, spoken from my heart because I don’t really tell people often enough just how much they mean to me. There are family, friends, neighbors, and countless others that I just don’t acknowledge, but I do think about them on a daily basis, if only for a brief moment. So the following is for you… To those special people in my life, know that I love you and deeply cherish our time together. You keep me grounded, aiding in my ability to thrive. I really do have the best friends in the world because everything they do is unconditional.
To all – Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful day. Cheers! – paerki
Memories
What would life be like without memories? They are, without a doubt, important to our resolve. They keep us going another day, and shield us from gloomy gray skies. The period from November through January is chockfull of opportunities for creating precious, cognizant keepsakes in time with family and friends. Don’t allow them to slip away. These are sacred moments that must never be taken for granted. I hope, dear reader, you are thriving in this beautiful season of love. I pray you’re receiving it and always remembering to give it back, maybe even to a stranger who just needs a simple hug. – paerki

"Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect." – Oren Arnold
