Clouds
Friday – a beautiful day with gorgeous cloud cover. There are times when you just have to stop what you’re doing and look up at the sky. You’ll often find it looking like a work of art. Look up and be amazed, awe-inspired. Here’s to Mother Nature, and her works of art.
Find Your Joy
The butterflies of summer have one last story to tell – one of joy and inspiration and of endurance. Each is a reminder to seek out the simple things that life has to offer in order to find true peace and harmony, and genuine perspective, for this is real beauty. It’s the little things, like a butterfly, that matter most – well, to me anyway. They help me not take the larger stuff for granted, or myself too seriously. Find your joy – today, and every day.
Summer Days
At times, I have a habit of bashing summer, but as I get older I welcome it more and more because it’s a period when time slows down, when we can really make the effort to explore and experience our surroundings in a more meaningful way (much of this has to do with the weather).
Never underestimate the power of each season. All are there to teach and motivate, to provide joy and inspiration, and to inspire – fortifying each life. However, we must be fully open to the experience, thus being present in the moment.
Soon we’ll embrace a new season. It’s hard to give up summer, but remember that without a little diversity in life, we would soon forget just how great the good things really are, and it would be so easy to take it all for granted.
Whatever you do, enjoy the remaining days of this favorable period and be thankful for each one. Savor the beach and pool time, hikes and barbecues, and those fabulous moments with friends, and don’t forget to take lots of photos because it won’t be too long before you’ll be daydreaming about summer.
