Sherwood Is Fading
A Monday afternoon walk to enjoy the sights and smells of springtime was just what I needed after a busy morning. Sadly, the tulips are losing their luster. The spring rains have damaged many tulip beds, including the ones at Sherwood Gardens. However, as the tulips fade, new flowers are emerging: Lily of the Valley, Magnolia, Lilac, Peonies and Wood Anemone – just to name a few. It’s sort of sad to see one type of flower die and another takes its place, but then again, it also gives us something to look forward too, thus the seasonal changes. – paerki
