3 Down (9 More To Go)
The last day of March is almost here. Can you believe it?! Like most people, I ask myself, “Where did the time go?” I’m never sure I use it as wisely as I can or should, but I know how to seize moments of happiness and joy, and I definitely did during this past month.
There were a few operas (Moby Dick and The Elixir Of Love), trips to museums, hikes on local trails (Stony Run, Jones Falls and Herring Run, and the Northern Central Railroad Trail), dining out (Sotto Sopra, Tapas Teatro, Alchemy and a few other favorites) and eating in (because I love to cook), game nights (Scrabble), quiet times to meditate, special moments with friends, and golden opportunities to meet new ones. I did a lot of thinking too, as that is perpetual. Here’s hoping that proves beneficial.
As always, look back to move forward. Focus on those things that bring you pleasure and build your life around them, which is guaranteed to move you onward in a happier, and healthier way.
So long, March! What I will remember most of all is how wet it was, and the snow that seemed to never end. I love it, but I’m ready to celebrate spring. April, work your magic, which translates to warm weather and beautiful flowers.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” We should always take advantage of what life has to offer and, by all means, we must share our good fortune with others. Cheers! – paerki (Additional Photos: March)
