Timeout
It’s appropriate I take a Facebook leave of absence. Life events occasionally require a timeout. I love my Facebook time, and I’ll miss it dearly. I’ll be back soon – I promise!
I preach joy, and it’s time I work on my own. I’m a joyful person, but I must find a bit more joy to get me through a particular challenge because my soul demands it. Recent events require I work a bit harder because I lost something that’s irreplaceable, that brought me an infinite amount of joy. I am feeling a bit lost. What’s gone wasn’t mine to begin with because it came with condition – my conditions. We must always seek a life of unconditional. That’s my code, and I faltered.
I experienced a 16-month moment that reshaped my world, more than you can ever imagine. It was a gift, and what a gift! I believe I could have appreciated it a bit more – perhaps a lifetime. I’ll never know. I’m a fool!
Never take advantage of the people in your life. Take advantage of the moments that you get to spend with them. I had written the following last week, and it’s definitely worth sharing again – and again, and again…
Words that are sufficiently crafted can leave a lasting impact on the world. It is good to keep in mind those words that will better help tell our story, ones that will represent us well for years to come. We must be clear in our purpose, concise in our action, meaningful in our pursuit and, above all else, honest if we desire a credible outcome.
While I ponder the importance of my own life, I often come to the conclusion that our greatest offering to the world can and should be the gift of words, and never those of disdain, but of hope, inspiration and reason – love is even better.
We must attempt to put our best foot forward at all cost, especially when speaking. Words have incredible power, and can make or break a spirit in an instant. They can make hearts soar or sore. Which will you choose, and how will you be remembered?
Think before you speak, and if you have nothing nice to say, just listen, and perhaps you might learn a thing or two. Now more than ever, we must be even more mindful of our communication, expressing ourselves in a way that makes others feel loved and cared for. Here’s to wiser choices, and better outcomes. Here’s to words that will help heal the human condition.
To a weary soul, I am sorry. It wasn’t you, but me. – paerki
