My Fall
Keep It Simple
My morning meditation was relaxing, and rejuvenating. I’m fortunate to live in an area with functional trails and beautiful parks. So many overlook these treasures in their community, but I want you to know they offer you a better quality of life. They provide outdoor recreation for hiking, cycling, camping, picnicking, etc., and best of all, educational opportunities.
Who needs a gym when you can get fit outdoors. It’s easy to access and always full of adventure. Always remember to dress for the occasion, take your cell phone in case of an emergency and hydrate.
Make time for meditation too. In a world of turmoil the mind requires silence (stillness) to help bolster our concentration, feed our creativity and keep us focused. However, the greatest reward is the reduction in stress and tension.
It was a beautiful morning, and I’m happy I spent it outdoors. It’s challenging finding someone who likes to spend Sundays the way I do – outdoors and always on foot, and when I do find a plus one to join me on my adventures – well, it makes it that much more pleasurable.
Make Time
Fall is getting better and better with each passing day. There’s a special feeling one gets this time of year, and it comes from seeing the leaves. Mother Nature really knows how to paint the time, well, in my community anyway. What can I say? It’s beautiful!
I’ve been looking for the perfect leaf, tree, etc., or so I thought. I’ve come to realize, with fall, no one thing is perfect, and one must take time to enjoy it all. Take it in and allow it to sooth every ounce of your being. That’s just what I did today and will continue to do, taking daily hikes until fall’s demise.
Make time for fall. It’s waiting for you and has much to share. Now is the time to create special memories with friends and family. Thrive!
A New Week
Here’s to a new week. Here’s to finding your joy. It’s your life. Dare to be responsible for it, and the best way to do this is by taking charge of your own destiny. It’s time to get focused, get busy and embrace the joy of living life on your own terms.
